About NCA

Norwegian Church Aid is a voluntary, ecumenical organisation that works to promote the basic rights of human beings.

The organisation is rooted in the Christian faith. We support those who need it most, irrespective of gender, political conviction, religion and ethnic origin.

Norwegian churches and congregations make up the constituency of Norwegian Church Aid. See the list of our constituent organisations here.

In order to achieve lasting results we cooperate with church-based and other local organizations in three ways:

Norwegian Church Aid acts in the belief that all humans have been created in God’s image with equal value and equal dignity. Our activities are based on five basic values:

  • Compassion
  • Justice
  • Participation
  • Peace
  • Responsible stewardship of creation
