RSS

Receive stories from Norwegian Church Aid in RSS-format!

RSS stands for ‘really simple syndication’ and is a file format that allows internet users to subscribe to news that is published on websites. In short, RSS is perhaps the easiest way of keeping yourself updated with the latest news from as many websites as you wish.

Norwegian Church Aid’s RSS feed allows you to keep abreast of the organisation’s latest activities.

Getting started

Most web browsers now include an inbuilt RSS reader, but if you use Internet Explorer 6 or earlier, you will need a small piece of software which you use instead of your internet browser. To subscribe to an RSS feed, all you do is copy and paste the url (web address) of the feed you wish to monitor into your feed reader. You can subscribe to as many feeds as you wish, and every time a new piece of news is published on one of your chosen feeds, you will receive a message.

A great many RSS feed readers can be downloaded for free. Some of the more popular are Feedreader, SharpReader and Google Reader.

To subscribe to Norwegian Church Aid’s RSS newsfeed service, paste the following web address into your RSS reader.
