About our fundraising

In 2007 Norwegian Church Aid raised a total of NOK 137 million thanks to the kind donations of individuals, parishes, companies and others. Norwegian Church Aid is careful about how it raises its funds. We have never used telephone sales directed towards individual donors, nor have we taken part in gaming or lottery activities. Norwegian Church Aid does not offer adoption programmes or other fundraising concepts where it is possible to support individual children directly. Children are part of a family and a community, and we believe that children benefit most when the entire community receives help. Administering such adoption programmes is also very resource-intensive.
