The struggle to make poverty history must be fought on many fronts simultaneously.

Norwegian Church Aid has three main working methods, and each of these are equally important if we are to realise basic human rights and defend human dignity around the world.

Norwegian Church Aid has chosen to focus on seven thematic fields in particular in order to reach those who are in most need of our assistance around the world.

What we stand for

Norwegian Church Aid does not have a political mandate. But we do need to monitor the policies of the Norwegian government with regard to mass poverty, which cannot be eradicated without fundamental changes to the policies of wealthy nations.
