Southern Africa

Norwegian Church Aid has been present in southern Africa since the early 1980s when the organisation joined the fight against apartheid in South Africa.

Today, NCA supports projects in six countries in the region, mainly through local partner organisations.

Good governance

focusing on:

  • Civil society for good local governance
  • Religious work in the community to promote economic justice
  • Mobilizing religious actors to take part in politics and community development
