Funding from Norwegian Government
A significant portion of NCA’s revenue is derived from the Norwegian government, through the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).
NCA has a long history of collaboration and implementation of both humanitarian and long-term development programmes with both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and Norad. Since 2020 , NCA has been a strategic partner of the MFA for humanitarian response.
In May 2024, NCA was approved as a Plus Partner/Strategic Partner of Norad, a qualification valid for five years. Through the validation process, NCA was assessed on several criteria and was approved as a solid partner committed to raising the quality of aid and delivering on strategically important aspects of Norwegian government official development aid.
