NCA believes that poverty and injustice are products of human actions and can be changed by conscious decisions and actions.
As a faith-based organization, NCA is called to uphold human dignity and protect the integrity of creation. NCA is mandated by the churches in Norway to work with people around the world to eradicate poverty and injustice, to empower the oppressed and challenge those in power.
In order to fulfill our mandate, we address the root causes of poverty and injustice, by advocating for just decisions by public authorities, businesses and religious leaders. We use a rights-based approach to attain lasting structural change where rights holders are empowered and duty bearers challenged.
