Opening a new innovation hub in East Jerusalem

Opening a new innovation hub in East Jerusalem

Creating jobs and entrepreneurship is an important part of NCA's work. Together with DCA’s innovation fund we have invested in the establishment of the innovation hub called, Station J, in East Jerusalem.

Station J opened on the 6th of February and is the latest addition to Jerusalem's growing entrepreneurial ecosystem. The hub offers emerging innovators, entrepreneurs, and committed business enablers the opportunity to join an inclusive and dynamic community of like-minded thinkers.

According to Station J's website, 30 start-ups have joined the innovation hub so far.

The hub is in its start-up phase and is being set-up and managed by a consortium of DCA/NCA, local partner Palvision, in cooperation with MENACatalysts, Jerusalem Hi-Tech Forum and a number of other partners from civil society, academia and the private sector.

Station J aims to accelerate technological innovation and youth entrepreneurship in East Jerusalem. The hub will support the economic, cultural and sustainable development for future generations in Palestine.

The emergence of which comes at a crucial juncture in the city's efforts to revitalize a stagnating economy by supporting youth enterprise based in Jerusalem.
