Norwegian Church Aid is excited to invite you to participate in our upcoming Market Dialogue to scope innovative solutions to address mental health and psychosocial problems using virtual reality (VR) for survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) in humanitarian contexts.
By bringing together stakeholders from the private sector, academia, humanitarian agencies, VR developers, GBV and mental health specialists and more, the Market Dialogue will provide a unique forum to discuss opportunities and challenges of providing therapeutic support to women, girls and GBV survivors, as well as using VR technology, in humanitarian contexts. This project is supported by Innovation Norway.
For more details on the Market Dialogue and why this project is interesting for your company, please see:
As a first step in the market dialogue, NCA hosted two information sessions about the project and procurement in early November 2022. In case you missed it, you can watch the recording here: Info Session Recording and invitation-to-market-dialogue_nca-gbv-vr .
NCA currently welcomes any interested parties to schedule bilateral meetings with our team to discuss potential solution strategies, clarify the problem statements, and answer any questions about the project, process or procurement. These meetings will help shape the specifications in the eventual request for proposals. To schedule a meeting, please contact John Drollinger, Project Advisor for GBViE Innovation, at John.Drollinger@nca.no.
Matchmaking: We are also looking for mental health professionals with experience in the Middle East and/or Iraq specifically who are interested in being connected with VR companies for potential partnership/consultation on this project. If you are interested, please complete this form.
If you have any other questions or want to get involved in the project, please contact John.Drollinger@nca.no
