The NCA Board consists of nine members chosen from among Norwegian Church Aid’s Board of Delegates, the President of Changemaker and two employee representatives.

Chairman of the Board

Ms. Tone Lindheim;

College lecturer and PDH scholarshipholder at VID (University College) – Member of Church of Norway – Cand. Philol, Master of Theology in intercultural studies, Master of Management - born 1971 Previous position as Director of International programs, Misjonsalliansen and before that a delegate for Misjonsalliansen to Bolivia. She has also been general manager at Hald International Center. She has a broad international network, and her knowledge of international aid work is of great value to the Board

Mr. Vegard Kolbjoernsrud; BI Norwegian Business School: Assistant Professor in Strategy  -Member of the Pentacostal Movement in Norway –PhD in strategic management – born 1973
Vegard is researching, teaching, and consulting on strategy, new organizational forms, digitalization, and business models. His areas of expertise also include governance and organization design, communities and crowdsourcing, open innovation, digital strategy as well as the impact of AI on management. Vegard has 16 years of strategy consulting experience from Accenture. He is an experienced leader and board member in Christian churches and organizations.

Kjetil Fretheim

Ms. Herborg Finnset; bishop of Nidaros Diocese, Church of Norway since 2017 –– Cand. Theol. – born 1961

Her role as a bishop in the Norwegian civil society is very useful–she has a voice listened to. She is focused on goals and strategies. She is also a Board member of the newly established Church based Dialogue centre in Trondheim. As a bishop she will easily connect with our church based partners.

Jørn Lemvik

Ms. Juliet Young; Dr./Miss Juliet Young; Board Member of the NCA Board – Medical Doctor and Doctoral Research Fellow, at The University of Oslo – Cand. Med. – born 1993. Former member of the Friendship Committee for Centralkirken (a missionary committee at the Methodist Church in Oslo) and a leader at youth camps organized by the Methodist Church in Norway. Besides her clinical medical work, she has been working as a youth leader for many years within the fields of social entrepreneurship and innovation, youth empowerment and intercultural understanding. Entering the NCA Board, she brings with her national and international experience paired with a passion to help people in need worldwide.

Mr. Ottar Mæstad; Director of CMI – research institution, Church of Norway -  Dr. oecon (Ph.D), – born 1967.

Broad knowledge/experience from research and reviews related to development aid with special focus on mother and children health, health services, international trade, climate and energy, poverty and economic development. Previously he was a researcher at SNF (Samfunns og Næringslivsforskning). Experienced board member.

Ms. Naja Amanda Lynge Møretrø, elected president of Changemaker Norway (NCA's youth movement) - born 1996. Naja has bachelor degrees in sociology and human geography, and has in her studies as well as in Changemaker engaged in issues about climate change and climate justice. Being the president of Changemaker will in the next year be her full time job.



Mr. Eirik Hjort Kirkerud- NCA Special Advisor Finance Department. - Cand. Polit from University of Oslo 2004, born 1969. Extensive expertise from humanitarian aid in emergencies. He has previously been working with emergency operations and humanitarian aid in various contexts since 2004, both with programme and finance. Currently working as special advisor in Finance Department as system administrator on NCA’s ERP system Maconomy, as well as other finance related tasks.
