Four years of successful collaboration in Syria

The Norwegian Church Aid and ECHO partnership enters its 4th year, reaching around 80,000 people in need in Syria.

On Friday, 17th of June, Norwegian Church Aid Syria’s country office, accompanied by the GOPA-DERD team headed by Archimandrite Meletius Shattahi hosted the European Commission's Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection department (ECHO) representatives Ms. Simona Seliskar, Mr. Amin Kalpakjian in the partner’s community center in Beituna – Our home – in Damascus Syria.

During the visit, ECHO representatives had the opportunity to see the ongoing activities and speak with girls and women from the affected community and hear their needs and feedback on the current action.

In 2022, the ECHO and NCA partnership entered its 4th year of successful collaboration, reaching around 80,000 people in need in Syria, by ensuring their physical and mental wellbeing and strengthening social and family networks.
