The Peacebuilding programme aims to contribute to sustainable peace and reconciliation in the country.
This means creating space for interaction across lines of tension, putting in place peace structures that involve all stakeholders to prevent and transform conflict, and establishing appropriate steps to secure the participation and influence of women and youth, among others.
NCA Ethiopia’s peace programme builds on its previous role in peacebuilding. It improves the capacity and resources of faith actors for peacebuilding, develop and strengthen inclusive peace structures that will address inter-communal violent conflicts in collaboration with the government, and bridge part of the conflict handling mechanism gap.
